Clubs and Organizations
I have been involved in numerous clubs throughout my high school experience, and here is a list of them.
Student Council
National Honor Society
For the past two years I have been a member of the Shepherd chapter of National Honor Society. To be a member of NHS a student has to have a grade point average of a 3.5 or better, and they have to maintain that GPA throughout their Senior year. I was inducted in the Spring of 2014 and I will graduate a member of National Honor Society. |
Science Club
I have been a member of the Shepherd High School Science Club for one year. As a member of Science Club, we do activities that are science related. In 2015, we went on a trip to Chicago. In Chicago, we visited science related places including the Field Museum,Adler Planetarium and Shedd's Aquarium. |
Tally-Ho 4-H Club
4-H has been a huge part of my life for thirteen years. I have been a member of Tally-Ho for the entirety of those thirteen years. With 4-H I have been taught to volunteer, treat others and animals with respect, and to also to keep the environment clean and healthy. Through 4-H I have shown horses, dairy feeders, and rabbits. 4-H has taught me a tremendous amount of responsibility. |

Spanish Club
This year the 2015 Spanish Club took a trip for ten days to Spain. The trip planning began a year ago and all the details were finally in place when the group left in March. As a club we fund raised money for our tips to give to our bus drivers, tour guides, and restaurants. While in Spain we visited Madrid, Toledo, Granada, and Costa Del Sol. This trip was a trip of a lifetime, and I am so thankful for the opportunity to be able to go. |
